An outdoors-man or sportsman paradise is for sale. There are some secluded acres of prime hunting land that is located in KY within the Little Kentucky River drainage along the Trimble/Henry Counties border. This many Generation family owned farm is approx. halfway between Cincinnati and Louisville. Five miles from the Interstate, I-71, the farm is home to abundant Whitetail deer and Eastern turkeys. This amount of acreage may sound small to those who hunt large tracts of land, but it is a Honeyhole. A term normally used in a fishing context, should apply here. With no house and little human interaction, the farm is very attractive to all wildlife. It lies adjacent to other properties (approx. 1200 acres) that are managed for trophy antler bucks or is lightly hunted. Kentucky has just recently moved up to number 4 in the nation for the number of Boone and Crockett Bucks taken and it is only going to get better in the future. Approx. sixty forested acres have been set aside in the past as bedding sanctuary and seldom entered. This has been one of the keys for this property consistently producing Trophy Bucks. Plenty of water with 3 isolated ponds located within bedding areas. Included are photos of deer and turkey taken on this property that might peak an interest. Most of the bucks and gobblers were taken from a barn on the property. For more game taken from barn, spring and fall, check out this link by copying and pasting into your URL:

This antique barn, which probably should be on a historic register, is situated on a saddle ridge which channel the deer and turkey within close range for a shot. A gobbler just loves to set up a strut zone, up and down a saddle, where he is more visible to that hen. Bow/archery kills should be an easy shot for you as he struts past the barn. And, with 7 wooded drainage hollows, that all converge along the top of this saddle, the lure of a quick crossing for a monster buck during the rut, means movement all times a day. The light use of a grunt/slate/box call and a decoy are deadly.
The barn used as a blind/stand is perfect for a hunter with low mobility, handicapped or a child that can not sit still. Or, maybe that corporate client you might like to take on a hunt or hunts while you work out that deal for the Company. You can drive a 4wd RV/Motorhome or 4x4 truck camper/trailer directly into the barn. Better than a round of golf any day! Is that some sort of tax write off? Anyway, the barn itself is approx. 150 years old. The barn has 10" by 10" timber beams that are of mortise and peg construction. This barn is a diamond in the rough which has the potential to become a beautiful hunting lodge/cabin or residence with exposed beams throughout. Perfect for a group of hunters that are in the pursuit to establish a hunting club. More photos are available of the barn and the lay of the land at the same link above.
The 96 acres of property is for sale at $500,000 or best offer.
